Teaching Resources

During my school visits I’ve recognised the need to create resources for teachers to help with reading skills. Using the Adventures of Poppy and Lord Ted: The First Summer, I have had the pleasure of working closely with one of the teachers I’ve met along the way - Mrs Sarah Gill.

We have collaborated to create a set of 24 chapter by chapter resources using the reading skills of retrieval, inference, vocabulary, prediction, commentary, and summary with lots of ideas and different activities to support learning across English and the wider Key Stage 2 curriculum.

These are free to download below to use in the classroom, or at home.
